Deployment.GetAppIdForUri Method

Gets a value that represents a unique ID for an out-of-browser application.

Parameters

  • AppUri
    Type: System.Uri
    The absolute URI of the application's .xap file on its host server.
  • xapLocationStr
    Type: System.String%
    When this method returns, contains the local path to the .xap file in the offline application cache. This parameter is passed uninitialized.

Return Value

Type: System.String
A unique ID for the out-of-browser application.
