Método SqlTransaction.Rollback ()

Publicado: octubre de 2016

Revierte una transacción desde un estado pendiente.

Espacio de nombres:   System.Data.SqlClient
Ensamblado:  System.Data (en System.Data.dll)

Public Overrides Sub Rollback

Exception Condition
Exception

Error al intentar confirmar la transacción.

InvalidOperationException

Ya se confirmó o revirtió la transacción.

O bien

Se interrumpió la conexión.

The M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.Rollback method is equivalent to the Transact-SQL ROLLBACK TRANSACTION statement. For more information, see SQL Server Books Online.

The transaction can only be rolled back from a pending state (after M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.BeginTransaction has been called, but before M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.Commit is called). The transaction is rolled back in the event it is disposed before Commit or Rollback is called.

System_CAPS_noteNota

Try/Catch exception handling should always be used when rolling back a transaction. A Rollback generates an InvalidOperationException if the connection is terminated or if the transaction has already been rolled back on the server.

For more information on SQL Server transactions, see "Explicit Transactions" and "Coding Efficient Transactions" in SQL Server Books Online.

The following example creates a T:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection and a T:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction. It also demonstrates how to use the M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.BeginTransaction, M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.Commit, and M:System.Data.SqlClient.SqlTransaction.Rollback methods. The transaction is rolled back on any error. Try/Catch error handling is used to handle any errors when attempting to commit or roll back the transaction.
