StringSplitOptions (Enumeración)

Nota: esta enumeración es nueva en la versión 2.0 de .NET Framework.

Especifica si las sobrecargas del método System.String.Split aplicables incluyen u omiten las subcadenas vacías del valor devuelto.

La enumeración tiene un atributo FlagsAttribute que permite una combinación bit a bit de los valores de miembro.

El método Split devuelve una matriz de las subcadenas de una cadena determinada que están delimitadas por cadenas o caracteres especificados. Los delimitadores adyacentes producen un elemento de matriz que contiene una cadena vacía (""). Los valores de la enumeración StringSplitOptions especifican si en la matriz devuelta se incluyen los elementos de matriz que contengan una cadena vacía.

Especifique el valor None para invocar al comportamiento predeterminado del método Split, que consiste en devolver una matriz de subcadenas tanto vacías como no vacías. Especifique el valor RemoveEmptyEntries para hacer que el método Split devuelva una matriz solamente compuesta de subcadenas que no estén vacías.

En el ejemplo de código siguiente se utiliza la enumeración StringSplitOptions para incluir o excluir las subcadenas generadas por el método Split.
