XmlDocument.CreateElement | createElement method

Creates an element node using the specified name.

var xmlElement = xmlDocument.createElement(tagName);

Parameters

tagName

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The name for the new element node. The string is case-sensitive. This name is subsequently available as the element node's NodeName property.

Return value

Type: XmlElement

The newly created object.
