ISecurityInformation4 interface

The ISecurityInformation4 interface enables the resource manager to provide additional information when computing effective permissions using the IEffectivePermission2 interface.

When to implement

You must implement the ISecurityInformation4 interface when the access control editor must compute the effective permission and show results based on additional resource manager specific authorization rules apart from the security descriptor on the object.

When to use

Applications do not call the ISecurityInformation4 methods. The system calls the interface methods to communicate with the application that called the EditSecurity or EditSecurityAdvanced functions.
