Description

Windows App Certification Kit 3.1 is included with the Windows SDK for Windows 8.1. The kit can be used to pre-certify Windows Store apps for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 before onboarding, as well as for the Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 Desktop App Certification Programs and Windows 8.1 Phone apps.

The Windows App Certification Kit 3.1 has been updated to provide the developers with a seamless user experience, including execution of tests in parallel to save overall time, selective test selection, and enhanced reporting, to name a few of the improvements.

Note

When prompted for an upgrade, please upgrade your version of Windows App Certification Kit to benefit from the latest features included in the kit. When your app is tested against the latest version of Windows App Certification Kit, it is ensured of better compliance with Windows Store policies and Desktop certification programs.
