AttributeWeights.Specular Property (Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D)

Retrieves or sets a numerical value that indicates the degree to which specular data is used in simplification operations.

Definition

Visual Basic Public Property Specular As Single
C# public float Specular { get; set; }
C++ public:
property float Specular {
        float get();
        void set(float value);
}
JScript public function get Specular() : float
public function set Specular(float);

Property Value

System.Single
A SingleLeave Site value that indicates the degree to which specular data is used in simplification operations.

This property is read/write.

Remarks

If the Specular field is 0.0, the simplification operation ignores the specular component when it calculates the error for collapsing the edges of a mesh. However, if the Specular field is 1.0, the simplification operation uses the specular component. If the Specular field is 2.0, double the amount of errors; if it is 4.0, quadruple the number of errors, and so on.
