Some customers may want you to handle the entire lifecycle for a subscription, that is, sales, provisioning, support, and renewal. However, in many cases customers purchase subscriptions from a different channel, but want to hire you to provision or support the subscriptions.
Multi-channel support applies when the customer:
- Has already bought subscriptions from 21Vianet.
- Bought the subscriptions from you when you were in the Advisor program, and now you’re in the CSP program.
To provide support for multichannel accounts, you must request permissions from the customer to manage their subscriptions. See Request a relationship with a customer.
