Converts the value of the specified double-precision floating-point number to an equivalent Boolean value.

Parameters

value
Type: System.Double

The double-precision floating-point number to convert.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if value is not zero; otherwise, false.

The following example converts a Boolean to a Double and a Double to a Boolean value.

		public void ConvertDoubleBool(double doubleVal) {
			bool	boolVal;
			// Double to bool conversion cannot overflow.
			boolVal = System.Convert.ToBoolean(doubleVal);
			System.Console.WriteLine("{0} as a Boolean is: {1}.",
