CompareInfo::Equals Method

Determines whether the specified object is equal to the current CompareInfo object.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
Parameters
- value
- Type: System::Object
The object to compare with the current CompareInfo.
Return Value
Type: System::Booleantrue if the specified object is equal to the current CompareInfo; otherwise, false.
Two CompareInfo objects are equal if their LCID and Name properties are equal.
This method overrides Object::Equals.
If a security decision depends on a string comparison or a case change, the application should use the InvariantCulture to ensure that the behavior is consistent regardless of the culture settings of the operating system.
