StringConverter::ConvertFrom Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object)

Converts the specified value object to a String object.

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel::ITypeDescriptorContext

An ITypeDescriptorContext that provides a format context.

culture
Type: System.Globalization::CultureInfo

The CultureInfo to use.

value
Type: System::Object

The Object to convert.

Return Value

Type: System::Object
An Object that represents the converted value.

ExceptionCondition
NotSupportedException

The conversion could not be performed.

The context parameter can be used to extract additional information about the environment this converter is being invoked from. This can be nullptr, so you always need to check its value. In addition, properties on the context object can return nullptr.
