Check Hyperlinks Results Dialog Box (Explorer)
Displays the results of a check for broken hyperlinks in a Web project. For each file in the Web project, this dialog box identifies which links appear invalid and which links were not checked.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, access the Check Hyperlinks dialog box, and click OK.
- File
Lists the files that were checked. Click a file name in this list to display invalid and ignored links.
- Ignored Links
Reports the number of ignored links, which are links to files outside the Web project (external files). These files cannot be checked. The ignored links are listed in the Links that were not checked in file area.
- Invalid Links
Reports the number of invalid links, which are links to files that do not exist in the Web project. The invalid links are listed in the Links which appear invalid in file area.
Links that were not checked in file
Lists the internal and external hyperlinks that were not checked.Note
Double-click an ignored link to start Internet Explorer, which will attempt to resolve the link and display the results.
- Links which appear invalid in file
Lists the hyperlinks to files that do not exist in the Web project.
