SoapProtocolImporter::IsOperationFlowSupported Method

This member overrides ProtocolImporter::IsOperationFlowSupported(OperationFlow), and more complete documentation might be available in that topic.

Determines whether the current operation's operation flow is supported.

Namespace:  System.Web.Services.Description
Assembly:  System.Web.Services (in System.Web.Services.dll)

protected:
virtual bool IsOperationFlowSupported(
	OperationFlow flow
) override

Parameters

flow
Type: System.Web.Services.Description::OperationFlow

An OperationFlow enumeration value that represents a transmission pattern.

Return Value

Type: System::Boolean
true if the current operation's operation flow is supported; otherwise false.

The IsOperationFlowSupported method determines whether to generate a method for the current operation, as represented by the Operation property. This evaluation takes place for each operation in a binding for which a class is being generated. If a false value is returned, the UnsupportedOperationWarning(String) method executes. A true value is returned only if the input value is OneWay or RequestResponse.

For more information, see the Flow property. The Messages property is of type OperationMessageCollection.
