Deleting Primary Keys and Unique Keys

Visual Studio .NET 2003

If your applications data requirements change, or if a key was inadvertently defined, you can delete primary and unique keys.

To delete an existing key

  1. Select the row with the key definition you want to delete.
  2. Right-click the row in the design grid with the key you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete Key from the shortcut menu.
Note   If a row is part of multiple key definitions, the Choose Key dialog box will appear, allowing you to select and delete individual key definitions.
