IComponentType::get_MediaSubType

The get_MediaSubType method retrieves the DirectShow media subtype as a BSTR.

Syntax

  HRESULT get_MediaSubType(
  BSTR*  pMediaSubType
);

Parameters

pMediaSubType

[out] Pointer to a BSTR that will receive the GUID.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if successful. If the method fails, error information can be retrieved using the standard COM IErrorInfo interface.
