IAtscContentAdvisoryDescriptor::GetRecordRatingDimension

This topic applies to Update Rollup 2 for Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and later.

The GetRecordRatingDimension method returns the dimension index into the rating region table (RRT) for a specified region.

Syntax

  HRESULT GetRecordRatingDimension(
  BYTE  bIndexOuter,
  BYTE  bIndexInner,
  BYTE*  pbVal
);

Parameters

bIndexOuter

[in]  Zero-based index of the rating region. To get the number of rating regions, call IAtscContentAdvisoryDescriptor::GetRatingRegionCount.

bIndexInner

[in]  Zero-based index of the rating dimension. To get the number of rating dimensions, call IAtscContentAdvisoryDescriptor::GetRecordRatedDimensions.

pbVal

[out]  Receives the rating_dimension_j field.

Return Values

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code Description
S_OK The method succeeded.
MPEG2_E_OUT_OF_BOUNDS The bIndexOuter or bIndexInner parameter is out of bounds.
