Pre-boot Firmware Testing

This test enumerates the following firmware tables—RSDT, XSDT, FADT, FACS, DSDT, MADT, CSRT, DBGP and DBG2—and performs basic verifications such as the following:

  • Ensures that the length described in table header matches the size of the table

  • Validates table signatures

  • Validates table versions

  • Validates checksums
