SetTexture routine

The SetTexture function inserts a texture at a particular stage in a multiple-texture group.

Syntax


PFND3DDDI_SETTEXTURE SetTexture;

  _In_ HANDLE hTexture

Parameters

hDevice [in]

A handle to the display device (graphics context).

Stage [in]

The stage in a multiple-texture group that indicates where to insert the texture that is specified by the hTexture handle. This parameter can be an integer in the range from 0 through 7, with the highest-numbered texture being closest to the frame buffer.

hTexture [in]

A handle to the texture to insert.

Return value

SetTexture returns S_OK or an appropriate error result if the texture is not successfully inserted.
