TDI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK structure

The DI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK structure contains an AppleTalk address, packed and aligned correctly.

Syntax

typedef struct _TDI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK {
  USHORT Network;
  UCHAR  Node;
  UCHAR  Socket;
} TDI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK, *PTDI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK;

Members

  • Network
    Specifies the AppleTalk network identifier.

  • Node
    Specifies the AppleTalk node identifier.

  • Socket
    Specifies the AppleTalk socket identifier.

Remarks

A TRANSPORT_ADDRESS structure contains a specified number of elements of type TA_ADDRESS. TDI_ADDRESS_APPLETALK defines the Address member of a TA_ADDRESS structure in which the AddressType is set to TDI_ADDRESS_TYPE_APPLETALK.

The AddressLength member(s) of the TA_ADDRESS substructure(s) can be set to the system-defined constant TDI_ADDRESS_LENGTH_APPLETALK.

Note   The TDI feature is deprecated and will be removed in future versions of Microsoft Windows. Depending on how you use TDI, use either the Winsock Kernel (WSK) or Windows Filtering Platform (WFP). For more information about WFP and WSK, see Windows Filtering Platform and Winsock Kernel. For a Windows Core Networking blog entry about WSK and TDI, see Introduction to Winsock Kernel (WSK).
