NdisPrintString function

NdisPrintString displays a given string on the debugging window.

Syntax

ULONG NdisPrintString(
   NDIS_STRING String
);

Parameters

  • String
    An NDIS_STRING type containing a counted string in the system default character set. For Windows 2000 and later, NDIS defines the NDIS_STRING type as a UNICODE_STRING type.

Return value

NdisPrintString returns the number of characters written to the debugging window.

Remarks

NdisPrintString supplies the equivalent of printf debugging support.

Not supported for NDIS 6.0 drivers in Windows Vista. Supported for NDIS 5.1 drivers in Windows Vista and Windows XP.
