Infrared deprecation warning

Important

The Infrared driver stack is deprecated starting in Windows 10, version 1803 and should no longer be used.

This section describes the architecture of the Consumer Infrared Remote (IR) Control driver stack for Microsoft Windows Media Center Technologies in Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate. The document also provides information about how to implement a driver to support additional types of IR remote controls for Windows Media Center Technologies in Windows Vista Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate.
