SMI-S Profile Requirements
SMI-S support in Windows requires the implementation of a number of profiles. These are instantiated as instances of the CIM_RegisteredProfile or CIM_RegisteredSubProfile classes in the interop namespace. Details for each profile and the classes required are provided below. Unless otherwise noted, these profiles apply to Array, Storage Virtualizer and Host Hardware RAID Controller (HHRC) implementations. Exceptions and conditional behaviors are noted in the specific profile descriptions.
