Array Profile (Block Devices, Clause 4)

The Array Profile describes RAID array systems. The RAID systems supported by this profile are standalone and use local disks to store the data.

CIM_ComputerSystem

For each supported subsystem, there must be one top-level CIM_ComputerSystem object in the implementation namespace associated to the Registered Profile (in the interop namespace) through a CIM_ElementConformsToProfile association. All hosted services must be associated to this top-level Computer System object. Consult the Array Package Diagram in Clause 4 of the SMI-S Block Devices book for more details.

Note  Additional Computer System (CS) objects associated to the top-level CS are used when discovering ports. These will be associated to the top-level CS through the CIM_ComponentCS association
