View Bug Submission Status

When you use the Windows® bug management service, your bugs are submitted to a remote Microsoft® server.

Viewing the submission status of a bug

Generally, a bug is submitted and received immediately. However, if there is a delay or a failure in delivery, you can see details in the submission status.

To view the submission status of a bug

  1. After you submit a bug on the Bug management page of the Dashboard, on the left side of the window, under Bug management, click Submission status.

  2. One of the following results will be displayed:


    No message

    The submission is successful.


    The submission has been delayed briefly, but is continuing.


    The submission isn't successful. Try to resubmit your bug.
