BitmapDecoder.PixelWidth | pixelWidth property

The width of the first frame in pixels.

Syntax

var pixelWidth = bitmapDecoder.pixelWidth;

Property value

Type: Number [JavaScript] | System.UInt32 [.NET] | uint32 [C++]

The width of the first frame in pixels.

Remarks

If you are working with image or pixel data that has EXIF orientation applied, use the OrientedPixelWidth property. Methods like GetPixelDataAsync return oriented pixel data. Also, the HTML img element in Windows Store apps using JavaScript, and Windows.UI.Xaml.Controls.Image respect EXIF orientation.

If you need pixel dimensions of the image as it is natively stored, use the PixelWidth property.
