DataGridView.RowDividerDoubleClick Event

Occurs when the user double-clicks the divider between two rows.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

public event DataGridViewRowDividerDoubleClickEventHandler RowDividerDoubleClick
/** @event */
public void add_RowDividerDoubleClick (DataGridViewRowDividerDoubleClickEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_RowDividerDoubleClick (DataGridViewRowDividerDoubleClickEventHandler value)

In JScript, you can handle the events defined by a class, but you cannot define your own.
Not applicable.

You can use this event to customize the automatic sizing behavior that occurs when a user double-clicks a row divider.

The row DividerWidth property does not extend the area in which a user can double-click. If the height of a divider has been increased through the use of this property, this event occurs when the user double-clicks the boundary between the divider and the adjacent column.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.

The following code example demonstrates the use of this member. In the example, an event handler reports on the occurrence of the RowDividerDoubleClick event. This report helps you to learn when the event occurs and can assist you in debugging. To report on multiple events or on events that occur frequently, consider replacing System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox.Show with System.Console.WriteLine or appending the message to a multiline TextBox.

To run the example code, paste it into a project that contains an instance of type DataGridView named DataGridView1. Then ensure that the event handler is associated with the RowDividerDoubleClick event.

private void DataGridView1_RowDividerDoubleClick(Object sender, DataGridViewRowDividerDoubleClickEventArgs e) {

System.Text.StringBuilder messageBoxCS = new System.Text.StringBuilder();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "RowIndex", e.RowIndex );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Handled", e.Handled );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Button", e.Button );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Clicks", e.Clicks );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "X", e.X );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Y", e.Y );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Delta", e.Delta );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
messageBoxCS.AppendFormat("{0} = {1}", "Location", e.Location );
messageBoxCS.AppendLine();
MessageBox.Show(messageBoxCS.ToString(), "RowDividerDoubleClick Event" );
}
