Sets the value of the property.

Parameters

component
Type: System.Object

The adapted object or PSObject object whose property value is to be set.

value
Type: System.Object

The new value.

Exception Condition
ExtendedTypeSystemException

The property could not be found or the component threw an exception. For more information, see the Remarks section.

PSArgumentNullException

The component parameter is null.

PSArgumentException

The component parameter is not a PSObject or PSObjectTypeDescriptor object.
