Gets the current value of the property.

Parameters

component
Type: System.Object

The adapted object or PSObject object whose property value is retrieved.

Return Value

Type: System.Object

The value of the adapted object or PSObject object property.

Exception Condition
ExtendedTypeSystemException

The property cannot be found or the component threw an exception. For more information, see the Remarks section.

PSArgumentNullException

The component parameter is null.

PSArgumentException

The component parameter not a PSObject or PSObjectTypeDescriptor object.
