PSCmdlet.GetVariableValue Method

Returns the value of a specific session-state variable. The variants of this method can return a variable value with or without a default value.

Returns the value of a specific session-state variable.

System_CAPS_pubmethodGetVariableValue(String, Object)

Returns the value of a specific session-state variable or a default value if the variable does not exist.

This method provides a shortcut to information that is also available through the SessionState class.
