PSCmdlet.CurrentProviderLocation Method (String)

Returns the fully-qualified path of the current working directory for the specified provider.

Assembly:  System.Management.Automation (in System.Management.Automation.dll)

public PathInfo CurrentProviderLocation(
	string providerId
)

Parameters

providerId
Type: System.String

The identifier of the provider.

Return Value

Type: System.Management.Automation.PathInfo

A PathInfo object that contains the fully-qualified path of the current working directory for the specified provider.

This method provides a shortcut to information that is also available through the SessionState class.
