IContentReader Interface

Defines the methods used to read the content of items in the data store.

Closes the content reader.

Reads the specified number of data blocks from the item specified in the GetContentReader call.

System_CAPS_pubmethodSeek(Int64, SeekOrigin)

Moves the content reader the supplied number of blocks relative to the specified origin.

A provider must provide an object that implements this interface when the GetContentReader method is called to read content from the specified items of the data store.

Windows PowerShell provides a TemplateProvider.cs file that is available on the Windows SDK. To start writing your own provider make a copy of this file and use that copy to create your provider, removing any functionality that you do not need. For more information about designing a provider, see Designing Your Windows PowerShell Provider [ps].
