CmdletProvider.TransactionAvailable Method ()

Determines if there is a transaction available for the provider. Transactions are started by running the Start-Transaction cmdlet. This method is introduced in Windows PowerShell 2.0.

public bool TransactionAvailable()

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean

Returns a Boolean value that indicates true if a transaction is available, otherwise false is returned.

When a transaction is available, the provider cmdlets can specify the UseTransaction parameter that allows them to participate in the transaction.
