IBackgroundDispatcher Members

Exposes functionality that can be used to execute a method on a thread pool thread while correctly managing system state, such as flowing ETW activities from the current thread to the thread pool thread. Introduced in Windows PowerShell 3.0.

public method BeginInvoke Extends the BeginInvoke method for a delegate by correctly managing the system state. Introduced in Windows PowerShell 3.0.
public method EndInvoke Extends the EndInvoke method for a delegate by correctly managing the system state. Introduced in Windows PowerShell 3.0.
public method QueueUserWorkItem Overloaded. Queues a method for execution while managing the system state. The method executes when a thread pool thread becomes available. Introduced in Windows PowerShell 3.0.
