FieldDescription Members

Represents an option that is used in a Windows PowerShell prompt call.

The following tables list the members exposed by the FieldDescription type.

  Name Description
  FieldDescription Initializes a new instance of the FieldDescription class that contains the name of the option.

public property Attributes Gets the attributes that can be used to declare metadata for the option.
public property DefaultValue Gets or sets the default value for the option.
public property HelpMessage Gets or sets the Help message for the option.
public property IsMandatory Gets or sets a value that indicates whether the option is treated as a mandatory parameter.
public property Label Gets or sets the label used to identify the option.
public property Name Gets the name of the option.
public property ParameterAssemblyFullName Gets the fully qualified name of the assembly containing the option's type.
public property ParameterTypeFullName Gets the fully qualified name of the option's type.
