Provides access to the parent cube texture or texture (mipmap) object.

An Object that represents the newly created container.

Remarks

This method provides access to the parent cube texture or texture mipmap object if the surface is a child level of a cube texture or mipmap. It also can provide access to the parent swap chain if the surface is a back buffer child.

Exceptions

InvalidCallException

The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter might contain an invalid value.
