XMVectorMergeXY function (directxmath.h)

Creates a new vector by combining the x and y-components of two vectors.

Syntax

XMVECTOR XM_CALLCONV XMVectorMergeXY(
  [in] FXMVECTOR V1,
  [in] FXMVECTOR V2
) noexcept;

Parameters

[in] V1

First vector.

[in] V2

Second vector.

Return value

Returns the merged vector.

Remarks

The following pseudocode demonstrates the operation of the function:

XMVECTOR Result;

Result.x = V1.x;
Result.y = V2.x;
Result.z = V1.y;
Result.w = V2.y;

return Result;
