CredentialPicker.PickAsync(String, String, String) | pickAsync(String, String, String) method

Constructor used to initiate asynchronous prompting operations using three inputs.

Syntax


Windows.Security.Credentials.UI.CredentialPicker.pickAsync(targetName, message, caption).done( /* Your success and error handlers */ );

Parameters

targetName

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The target name to display.

message

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The message to display in the dialog box.

caption

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The caption to display in the dialog box.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperation<CredentialPickerResults>

The credential and options from the user.
