PackageManager.RegisterPackageAsync(Uri, IIterable(Uri), DeploymentOptions) | registerPackageAsync(Uri, IIterable(Uri), DeploymentOptions) method

Registers a package (the main package) and its dependency packages for the current user, using the specified deployment options.

Syntax


packageManager.registerPackageAsync(manifestUri, dependencyPackageUris, deploymentOptions).done( /* Your success and error handlers */ );

Parameters

manifestUri

Type: Windows.Foundation.Uri [JavaScript] | System.Uri [.NET] | Windows::Foundation::Uri [C++]

The Uri of the main package.

dependencyPackageUris

Type: IIterable<Uri> [JavaScript/C++] | System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<Uri> [.NET]

The Uris of the dependency packages.

deploymentOptions

Type: DeploymentOptions

A bitwise combination of enumeration values from the DeploymentOptions enumeration that specify deployment options.

Return value

Type: IAsyncOperationWithProgress<DeploymentResult, DeploymentProgress>

An object that the caller can observe to track progress and completion for the call. The object implements the IAsyncOperationWithProgress pattern.
