Type element

This element describes the data type of an item.

Attributes

There are no attributes.

Text value

This element contains the data type of the value. The type identifiers are case insensitive and leading and trailing spaces are ignored.

The allowed types are:

bool

Boolean

Byte

char

DateTime

DirectoryPath

double

Duration

FilePath

float

int

Int16

Int32

Int64

SByte

single

String

TimeSpan

UInt16

UInt32

UInt64

Note  Duration and TimeSpan are only valid for parameter definitions. They are not supported for metric definitions.
