BoundingSphere.Intersects(XMVECTOR, XMVECTOR, float&) method
Tests the BoundingSphere for intersection with a ray.
Syntax
bool Intersects( [in] XMVECTOR Origin, [in] XMVECTOR Direction, [out, ref] float &Dist );
Parameters
- Origin [in]

The origin of the ray.
- Direction [in]

The direction of the ray.
- Dist [out, ref]

The length of the ray.
Return value
A bool value indicating whether the BoundingSphere contains the specified ray.

Platform Requirements
Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 with the Windows SDK for Windows 8. Supported for Win32 desktop apps, Windows Store apps, and Windows Phone 8 apps.
