Gets the extent of the region.

Syntax

HRESULT GetExtent(
  [out] double                  *pWidth,
  [out] double                  *pHeight,
  [out] MF_TIMED_TEXT_UNIT_TYPE *unitType
);

Parameters

[out] pWidth

Type: double*

A pointer to a variable that receives the width of the region.

[out] pHeight

Type: double*

A pointer to a variable that receives the height of the region.

[out] unitType

Type: MF_TIMED_TEXT_UNIT_TYPE*

A pointer to a variable that receives a MF_TIMED_TEXT_UNIT_TYPE-typed value that specifies the units in which the timed-text region is measured.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
