HttpMultipartContent.HttpMultipartContent(String, String) constructor

Initializes a new instance of the HttpMultipartContent class with the specified MIME subtype and boundary string.

Syntax


var httpMultipartContent = new Windows.Web.Http.HttpMultipartContent(subtype, boundary);

Parameters

subtype

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The MIME subtype of the multipart content.

boundary

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The boundary string for the multipart content.

Exceptions

Parameter validation errors that cause exceptions can occur when calling this method. An app can use the HRESULT from the exception to learn more detailed information on the cause of the exception.

E_INVALIDARG

The subtype parameter is null (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The boundary parameter is null (Nothing in Visual Basic) or contains only white space characters or the boundary ends with a space character.

The length of the boundary parameter is greater than 70.
