ID2D1Factory::CreateEllipseGeometry method

Creates an ID2D1EllipseGeometry.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateEllipseGeometry(
  [ref] const D2D1_ELLIPSE         &ellipse,
  [out]       ID2D1EllipseGeometry **ellipseGeometry
);

Parameters

ellipse [ref]

Type: const D2D1_ELLIPSE

A value that describes the center point, x-radius, and y-radius of the ellipse geometry.

ellipseGeometry [out]

Type: ID2D1EllipseGeometry**

When this method returns, contains the address of the pointer to the ellipse geometry created by this method.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Examples

The following creates two ID2D1EllipseGeometry objects and combines them using the different geometry combine modes.

        D2D1::Point2F(75.0f, 75.0f),
        50.0f,
        50.0f
        );

    hr = m_pD2DFactory->CreateEllipseGeometry(
