FileInformation.MoveAsync(IStorageFolder, String) | moveAsync(IStorageFolder, String) method

Moves the StorageFile to the specified folder, and gives the file the specified file name.

Syntax


fileInformation.moveAsync(destinationFolder, desiredNewName).done( /* Your success and error handlers */ );

Parameters

destinationFolder

Type: IStorageFolder

The destination folder.

desiredNewName

Type: String [JavaScript] | System.String [.NET] | Platform::String [C++]

The new file name.

Return value

Type: IAsyncAction

No object or value is returned when this method completes.
