IFsrmSetting::SmtpServer property

Retrieves or sets the SMTP server that FSRM uses to send email.

This property is read/write.

Syntax

HRESULT get_SmtpServer(
  [out] BSTR smtpServer
);

Property value

The name or IP address of the SMTP server that FSRM uses to send email. The name is limited to 4,000 characters.

Error codes

The method returns the following return values.

S_OK

Success

Note that the address is verified at the time the email message is sent, so setting this property may succeed but sending the message may fail if the address is not valid.

Remarks

This property must be set in order for FSRM to send email. To verify settings, call the IFsrmSetting::EmailTest method.
