IFsrmSetting::MailFrom property

Retrieves or sets the default email address from which email messages are sent.

This property is read/write.

Syntax


HRESULT put_MailFrom(
  [in]   BSTR mailFrom
);

HRESULT get_MailFrom(
  [out]  BSTR mailFrom
);

Property value

The default email address from which email messages are sent. The address is limited to 4,000 characters.

Error codes

The method returns the following return values.

Success

Note that the address is verified at the time the email message is sent, so setting this property may succeed but sending the message may fail if the address is not valid.

Remarks

The default is" FSRM@local machine name". You cannot set this to "[Admin Email]".
