IGPMTrustee interface

The IGPMTrustee interface contains methods to retrieve information about a given trustee when using the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC). The GPMTrustee object represents a user, group or security group in the domain. To create a GPMTrustee object, call the IGPM::CreateTrustee method.

TrusteeDomain

Domain of the trustee in NetBIOS format, resolved from the SID.

TrusteeDSPath

Fully qualified distinguished name of the security principal in the directory service. For example, cn=administrators,cn=builtin,dc=domainname,dc=coname,dc=com. This is the path to the directory service (DS) object that corresponds to the security principal. Note that this value is returned only for domain-based groups that are defined on Windows 2000 domains and later.

TrusteeName

Relative distinguished name (RDN) of the trustee, resolved from the SID.

TrusteeSid

SID of the trustee.

TrusteeType

Type of the trustee; for example, SidTypeUser or SidTypeComputer.
