IOCSPCAConfiguration::ReminderDuration property

The ReminderDuration property gets or sets the percentage of a signing certificate lifetime after which a warning event is logged.

This property is read/write.

Syntax

HRESULT put_ReminderDuration(
  [in]   ULONG Val
);

HRESULT get_ReminderDuration(
  [out]  ULONG *pVal
);

Property value

The reminder-duration percentage to set.

Error codes

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK.

If the method fails, it returns an HRESULT value that indicates the error. For a list of common error codes, see Common HRESULT Values.

If the method returns HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_INVALID_STATE), either it failed to initialize a lock on the OCSPCAConfiguration object, or the object failed to initialize.

If the method returns HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND), the ReminderDuration member of the OCSPCAConfiguration object failed to initialize.

If the method returns E_INVALIDARG, the pVal parameter was set to NULL.

Remarks

Percentage values must be in the range 0 through 100; the default value is 90. An Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) responder service includes a service-wide value having this default.
