The Failover Cluster Configuration Interfaces
The Failover Cluster Configuration architecture is a feature of Windows Server 2003. When a node joins, forms, or is evicted from the cluster, the cluster notifies registered components on the node. You can use the Failover Cluster Configuration Interfaces to create these components and implement customized setup, upgrade, and uninstall procedures for your cluster-aware applications. For example, when a cluster is being formed you can create and register resource types and configure initial resources and groups. You can provide feedback to the user through the Failover Cluster Configuration Wizard. The Failover Cluster Configuration Interfaces allow you to integrate your setup and configuration tasks with those of the cluster.
