ICommand.CanExecute method

Defines the method that determines whether the command can execute in its current state.

Syntax


bool CanExecute(
  Object^ parameter
)

Parameters

parameter

Type: Object

Data used by the command. If the command does not require data to be passed, this object can be set to null.

Return value

Type: Boolean

true if this command can be executed; otherwise, false.

Remarks

When programming with .NET, this interface is hidden and developers should use the System.Windows.Input.ICommand interface.
